KAMPALA, Uganda – Zambian gospel artists Pompi and Esther Chungu delivered a powerful joint debut performance at the Alive in the Park event on Thursday, September 12, 2025, headlining a night of worship and celebration at the Millennium Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala.
The concert, organized by Vine Entertainment Group and sponsored by MTN Uganda, drew thousands of enthusiastic attendees. The evening kicked off with a soulful opening set by Malawian gospel artist Theresa Phondo, setting a reflective and uplifting tone for the night.
Esther Chungu took the stage with captivating renditions of her popular songs “Healing” and “Jehovah,” connecting deeply with the audience. Pompi followed with an energetic performance, rallying the crowd with fan favorites like “Giant Killer” and “Shamboko.” The venue quickly transformed into a massive worship celebration, with the crowd singing along word-for-word throughout the night.
