Frank Gashumba and Patience Mutoni Malaika Welcome Their First Child Together
KAMPALA, UGANDA – Prominent Ugandan media personality and social commentator Frank Gashumba has announced the birth of his child with his wife, Patience Mutoni Malaika.
The couple welcomed their first child together on Monday, September 15, 2025. The news was confirmed through statements shared by media outlets, including Radio 4 FM, on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). According to the reports, Gashumba confirmed that both the newborn and mother, Malaika, are in good health and recovering well.
This joyful event follows public reports in June 2025 that Malaika was expecting. The couple had previously formalized their relationship with a traditional introduction ceremony, known as Kwanjula, in May of this year.
Gashumba, who is also a father to a daughter named Sheilah from a previous relationship, has been flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and followers across social media.
