Bukoto Central MP Ssebamala Calls Strategic Meeting for DP Parliamentary Aspirants
Bukoto Central legislator Richard Ssebamala has summoned all aspirants seeking to contest for Member of Parliament seats on the Democratic Party (DP) ticket to a strategic “clean the house” meeting ahead of official nominations.
Sources indicate that the meeting is scheduled for August 19, 2025, at a yet-to-be-disclosed venue, with all expected participants already notified.
Ssebamala, who recently returned from the United States, has also pledged financial support for DP aspirants, promising Shs10 million in funding for each parliamentary candidate under the party.
The gathering is expected to focus on strengthening the party’s unity, refining campaign strategies, and preparing for the forthcoming elections.
