KAMPALA – Senior Presidential Advisor Namere Justine has publicly distanced herself from allegations linking her to the recent assault of fellow presidential adviser, Full Figure.
The denial comes amid swirling rumors and public speculation about the motives behind the attack on Full Figure, a well-known socialite and government official.
In a statement issued on Monday, Namere firmly rejected any involvement. “I categorically deny having any hand, directly or indirectly, in the unfortunate beating of Presidential Adviser Full Figure,” she stated. “Such allegations are baseless and aimed at tarnishing my name.”
However, Namere’s comments took a sharp turn as she shed light on what she described as widespread frustration within government circles. She suggested that the incident may be a symptom of deeper grievances held by many against Full Figure.
“People are angry, even within government,” Namere revealed. “There is a growing resentment towards her habit of constantly abusing and insulting people, under the mistaken belief that she is untouchable.”
While condemning the violence, Namere implied that Full Figure’s behavior had created a host of enemies. She did not specify the nature of the alleged abuses but suggested they were verbal and personal.
Concluding her statement, Namere offered a pointed piece of personal advice to her colleague, stating that “going for rehab will be a good option for Full Figure.” This remark has further fueled discussion about the circumstances surrounding the incident and the dynamics within the state house advisory team.
Efforts to reach Full Figure for comment on these latest allegations were unsuccessful at the time of this publication. The police have not yet named any suspects in the investigation into the assault.
