In a gracious concession message, Babirye extended her congratulations to the victorious candidates and wished them strength in their pursuit of the party’s objectives. She used the opportunity to reaffirm her “unwavering” belief in the NUP and its leader, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, whom she described as the driver of “the transformative change Uganda desperately needs.”
“I am profoundly grateful to my dedicated team and steadfast supporters who worked tirelessly alongside me,” Babirye stated. “Your passion fuels my commitment.”

Emphasizing her loyalty to the party, Babirye declared herself “fully committed to supporting all NUP activists and candidates.”
“The struggle is alive, and I am here to serve with you,” she concluded, signing the message “In gratitude and solidarity.”
