Ugandan TikToker Jayden’s Remains Return Home from India
The remains of 24-year-old Ugandan TikToker Timothy Kayanja, popularly known by his stage name Jayden, have arrived back in his home country from India.
Kayanja passed away on September 15 in India, succumbing to sickle cell disease and aplastic anaemia. His death followed a bone marrow transplant that was entirely funded through public support.
The repatriation of his body on Tuesday sparked emotional scenes at the airport. Following the arrival, his remains were moved to St. Kizito Catholic Church in Namungoona, where a vigil is currently underway.
Funeral arrangements have been confirmed, with a requiem mass scheduled for Wednesday morning. He is set to be laid to rest on Thursday afternoon in Sala Village, located in Wakiso District.
Tributes have continued to pour in for the young content creator, with many recalling his fun-loving skits that brought widespread laughter to his audience. His comedic influence was so significant that it even became local slang for pampered children.
As reported by 100.2 Galaxy FM Zzina!, notable figures, including Top Rasta BebeCool, joined Jayden’s mother at the mass to pay their respects to the fallen TikToker.
