EXCLUSIVE:Mwesigye Claims Bribe Attempt by Inspire Africa, Vows to Expose Duncan Abigaba’s Dark Secrets
Kampala, Uganda — Hon. Frank Mwesigye, has unleashed a blistering attack on socialite Duncan Abigaba, accusing him of launching a blackmail campaign while also alleging that a senior official from Inspire Africa offered him bribes in a bid to silence him over the controversial “coffee marathon saga.”
In a fiery social media post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Mwesigye declared that Abigaba had blocked him — but that would not stop the truth from emerging.
“I Have Evidence” — Frank Claims Bribe Offer
According to Mwesigye, a top figure at Inspire Africa contacted him by phone the previous evening with an attempt to buy his silence.
“One of the senior people from Inspire Africa called me last evening, offering me favors and other benefits as a way of silencing me, but I declined. I have evidence of it,” Frank wrote.
He said his refusal was rooted in principle. “I refused because my purpose is to fight corruption within my small means, and I will continue whistleblowing.”
Mwesigye went further, severing any association with the organization. “Let it be clear that there is absolutely nothing I want from Inspire Africa. They are too corrupt for me to associate with.”
Inspire Africa had not issued a response at the time of this publication.
‘A Desperate Man’ — Frank Taunts Abigaba
Turning his sights on Duncan Abigaba, Mwesigye painted a picture of a man left behind by his peers.
“Abigaba is simply a desperate man. Many of his friends he started struggle with are now successful, some are ministers, while others are Members of Parliament, but he is still stuck with my name in his mouth.”
Explosive Threats: Failed Marriage and Hidden Past
Frank then raised the stakes dramatically, threatening to expose deeply personal details if Abigaba continues his alleged campaign.
“If he continues with this nonsense, I will reveal why he married a beautiful woman for only two weeks before she ran away from him, and I will tell you why he doesn’t want anyone to talk about the coffee marathon saga.”

He also challenged Abigaba to disclose his current livelihood. “Let him also tell us what he is doing currently, for a living.”
Background: The Coffee Marathon Saga
While neither party has fully explained the “coffee marathon saga,” it is clearly the flashpoint for the escalating feud. Mwesigye implied that Abigaba has much to hide on that matter, warning that the blackmail campaign “will not save the entire coffee marathon saga.”
No Comment from Abigaba or Inspire Africa
Repeated attempts to reach Duncan Abigaba for comment were unsuccessful. His social media presence appears to have blocked Frank, consistent with Mwesigye’s claim.
