Pastor Ssenyonga Faces Property Seizure as Church Struggles to Clear Loan

KAMPALA – Prominent city pastor Jackson Ssenyonga has been reportedly waking up at 3:00 a.m. daily to pray for divine intervention as court bailiffs move to auction off several commercial properties belonging to his Christian Life Ministries.
According to a notice published in the Daily Monitor of Thursday, March 12, 2026, Jald (IV), operating as Pay-Go-Free Auctioneers & Court Bailiffs, has given the church a few weeks to settle an outstanding loan on properties located in Mulago and Makerere. The auctioneers are acting on instructions from an unnamed financial institution.
The notice warns that if the church fails to clear “the outstanding loan balances, interest plus our fees and disbursements” before the sale date, the properties will be disposed of by public auction or private treaty.
