The divorce saga between celebrated singer Jose Chameleone (real name Joseph Mayanja) and his estranged wife Daniella Atim has taken a fresh twist, with Daniella reportedly demanding a share of prime properties, including the Sseguku and Akright mansions as well as a farm in Mityana.
Sources close to the family reveal that Daniella, who has been quietly building her case, has now reignited the legal battle, putting Mayanja’s lawyer, Kagolo, on notice for what is expected to be a fierce courtroom showdown.
The dispute has reportedly taken a toll on the singer, with insiders claiming that stress has pushed him back to alcohol. Additionally, allegations are swirling that Mayanja has gone eight months without sending child upkeep, worsening the already strained relationship.
The rift has been further deepened by reports of the star’s alleged off-side romps in the US and claims of a love child named Anna, fueling Daniella’s push for what she terms her rightful share after years of marriage.
The couple, once celebrated as one of Uganda’s most admired celebrity unions, now appears headed for an irreconcilable split, with property and custody at the center of the storm.
