Tehran, Iran — July 29, 2025
Iran has issued a strong warning against further acts of aggression, particularly from the United States and Israel, vowing to respond with decisive and undeniable force should such hostilities continue. The statement, delivered by Iran’s Foreign Minister, emphasized that the Iranian nation “will never respond to the language of threat and intimidation,” citing its 7,000-year-old civilization and historical resistance to foreign domination.
The remarks come in the aftermath of recent covert and overt attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which Tehran has labeled as illegal and reckless acts of aggression. According to the Foreign Minister, Iran is fully aware of the scope and impact of these attacks—both on Iranian assets and on those of its adversaries—though much of the information remains censored in international media.
“If aggression is repeated,” the minister warned, “we will not hesitate to react in a more decisive manner and in a way that will be impossible to cover up.”
Highlighting the humanitarian aspect of Iran’s nuclear program, the minister pointed out that over a million Iranians depend on medical radioisotopes produced by the Tehran Research Reactor, a U.S.-supplied facility operating on 20%-enriched uranium. Iran also requires enrichment to fuel its emerging nuclear power sector. “No one in their right mind would abandon the fruits of tremendous investment in homegrown and peaceful technology simply because bullying foreigners demand it,” the statement added.
The foreign minister dismissed the notion of a military solution to concerns about Iran’s nuclear program, especially in light of the recent bombing of Iranian nuclear sites. “The military option has proven incapable. If there are genuine concerns about diversion to non-peaceful purposes, only a negotiated solution can address them.”
Iran reiterated that its nuclear achievements were not purchased but were the result of immense national effort. “We have built our peaceful nuclear program with blood, sweat, and tears,” the minister said, adding that while the country’s enrichment infrastructure may have suffered damage, its scientific expertise and national resolve remain intact.
The firm stance underscores Iran’s continued commitment to its nuclear program, its insistence on peaceful development, and its refusal to bow to external pressure. Tehran is calling on the international community to recognize that diplomacy—not force—is the only path forward.
