Oslo Gardens Foreign Businessman Under Investigation After Alleged Assault on Media Personality
ENTEBBE | By Staff Writer – Tensions flared at Kitooro Trading Center on Tuesday evening when a foreign businessman, identified as the proprietor of Oslo Gardens, allegedly assaulted local media figure Samuel Batambira of Entebbe One Media Fox.
The incident, now under police investigation, reportedly began as a dispute between the businessman, commonly referred to by onlookers as the “muzungu” boss, and a local jewelry vendor. Witnesses describe an escalating exchange that drew the attention of Batambira, who was present at the scene.
According to accounts from bystanders, the situation intensified when Batambira intervened or attempted to document the altercation. This prompted the Oslo Gardens boss to allegedly turn his aggression towards the media critic, leading to a physical confrontation.
“The tempers were running high. It started with the jewelry man, but then he turned on Batambira for poking his nose into the issue. Everyone was watching; it was quite a drama,” stated one eyewitness who declined to be named.
