President Tinubu Orders Immediate Manhunt, Vows Justice for Kasuwan Daji Attack Perpetrators
Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a sweeping directive to the nation’s top security chiefs, ordering an aggressive pursuit of the terrorists responsible for the recent attack in Kasuwan Daji and pledging to bring them to swift justice.
In a strongly-worded statement, the President confirmed he has instructed the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, all Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to hunt down the assailants.
“These terrorists have tested the resolve of our country and its people. They must face the full consequences of their criminal actions,” President Tinubu declared. “No matter who they are or what their intent is, they must be hunted down.”
The President extended his warning beyond the direct perpetrators, stating that “those who aid, abet, or enable them will also be brought to justice.”
Alongside the security crackdown, Tinubu has directed an urgent rescue operation for all abducted victims from the attack. He has also mandated the intensification of security operations around vulnerable communities, particularly those in proximity to forested areas.
Calling for national unity in the face of the threat, the President urged collective action. “These times demand our humanity. We must stand together as one people and confront these monsters in unison,” he said. “United, we can and must defeat them and deny them any sanctuary. We must reclaim peace for these attacked communities.”
The statement concluded with a tribute to the lives lost: “May the souls of the departed rest in peace.”
The directives signal a forceful federal response to the attack, emphasizing a no-sanctuary approach to terrorism and banditry. Security observers await the operational deployment and results of the President’s orders.
