Uganda and UAE Forge Deeper Economic Ties at 4th Business Forum
KAMPALA, Uganda – Uganda successfully concluded the fourth edition of the Uganda-United Arab Emirates (UAE) Business Forum, a high-level event aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between the two nations. Held from October 27th to 29th, 2025, at the Speke Resort Munyonyo, the forum served as a dynamic platform for dialogue and partnership.
The event was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabanja. In her opening address, she highlighted Uganda’s continuous reforms designed to improve the investment climate and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to deepening its long-standing bilateral relationship with the UAE.
Over the course of three days, the forum brought together a diverse delegation of business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and top policymakers. Representatives from Uganda’s private sector and key government agencies, including the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), engaged in fruitful discussions with their UAE counterparts.
The primary focus was on exploring and deepening partnerships across several vital sectors, including investment, trade, tourism, and innovation. Participants actively exchanged insights on the practical opportunities and challenges of doing business between the two countries, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual understanding.
A key outcome of the forum was the generation of innovative ideas intended to influence policy and foster a more supportive and robust business environment for Ugandan and Emirati enterprises alike. The event also provided significant networking opportunities, laying the groundwork for future commercial deals and strategic alliances.
The 4th Uganda-UAE Business Forum marks a significant step in solidifying the economic bridge between the two nations, promising a new chapter of shared prosperity and growth.
