Kampala, Uganda – In a gathering underscoring unity and shared vision, the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) hosted its annual Aviation Week Stakeholders’ Engagement Breakfast at the Imperial Royale Hotel on December 16, 2025. The event served as a pivotal forum for leaders across the aviation ecosystem to review the year’s performance and strategize for the future.
The meeting brought together a diverse cross-section of the industry, including government officials, air operators, tour and travel companies, aviation fuel suppliers, representatives from Entebbe Municipality, PRAU Uganda, key industry partners, development agencies, and the media.
A central theme of the engagement was the celebration of significant national and institutional achievements in 2025. Highlights included the progress on the new Passenger Terminal Building at Entebbe International Airport, the development of Kabalega International Airport, and ongoing upgrade plans for several upcountry aerodromes. These projects are poised to significantly enhance capacity, safety, and passenger experience across Uganda’s air transport network.
Throughout the discussions, UCAA leadership and stakeholders emphasized the critical importance of sustained collaboration. The collective focus remains on advancing a safe, secure, efficient, and environmentally sustainable aviation industry that supports national economic growth and regional connectivity.
