ENTEBBE ELECTION HEATS UP AS CANDIDATE HIGHLIGHTS TRACK RECORD
ENTEBBE, UGANDA – With the municipal election just days away, candidate Mugabi John Socrates is making a direct appeal to voters based on what he calls a “proven track record of action,” positioning himself as an antidote to what he labels “empty promises.”
Under the campaign banner “Entebbe Deserves Results,” Socrates is centering his platform on the theme of “Sustainable Prosperity over Empty Pockets.” He pledges a focus on achieving financial independence and dignified employment for every household in the area.
In recent campaign messaging, Socrates has outlined several key achievements he claims distinguish him from typical contenders:
· Community Defense: He highlights his role in successfully protecting local land from outside commercial interests, framing it as a defense of community heritage and family security.
· Job Creation: The candidate points to pioneering local job-linkage programs he initiated, which he states have already placed hundreds of Entebbe residents into employment.
· Youth Empowerment: Through his “Global Youth Gateway” initiative, Socrates claims to have facilitated international experience for 25 young people, aiming to build a skilled workforce for the future.
“This election isn’t about hype; it’s about competence and commitment,” stated a recent campaign release. “Why settle for a promise when you can choose a leader with proof?”
The campaign is urging supporters to mark their calendars for Election Day, February 4th, 2026, and to “Vote for Real Change.”
While Socrates’s message focuses on his documented local work, the upcoming election is expected to be competitive, with other candidates likely presenting their own visions for Entebbe’s development. Voters will now weigh these promises of future action against claims of past performance.
As the race enters its final stretch, the debate in Entebbe appears to be crystallizing around one core question: proven record versus new promise.
