Entebbe Municipal Council Enhances Staff Capacity with Automated Balanced Scorecard Training

Entebbe Municipal Council has stepped up efforts to improve service delivery through a specialised training session on the Automated Balanced Scorecard (BSC) tool. The training, held at Horizon Hotel, was facilitated by a technical team from the Ministry of Public Service (MOPS).

The programme aimed to strengthen both national and institutional objectives by boosting performance management and accountability mechanisms. Through the BSC tool, municipal staff will be able to align their individual performance targets with commitments outlined in the National Development Plan (NDP), ensuring that their work directly contributes to Uganda’s broader development goals.
According to officials, integrating the Automated BSC tool into council operations will enhance efficiency in monitoring and evaluation, streamline reporting processes, and promote a results-driven work culture across the municipality. This move is expected to significantly improve the coordination, tracking, and achievement of performance targets within Entebbe Municipal Council.
