ENTEBBE, UGANDA – In a significant step towards the 2026 general elections, His Worship Fabrice Brad Rulinda was officially nominated yesterday by the Electoral Commission Wakiso district registrar as a candidate for the position of Mayor of Entebbe Municipality.
The nomination comes after a recent legal affirmation of his candidacy. The NRM Election Disputes Tribunal, chaired by John Musiime, recently dismissed a petition challenging his eligibility. In its ruling, the tribunal confirmed Mr. Rulinda as the duly elected National Resistance Movement (NRM) flagbearer for the mayoral position, solidifying his path to the ballot.

The community has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the noble leader on this achievement. Supporters and constituents eagerly anticipate his continued service and the vision he will bring for the future of Entebbe. A wave of optimism surrounds his campaign, encapsulated by the slogan: “Progress Made, Promise Ahead.”
Mayor Rulinda’s nomination sets the stage for a campaign focused on building upon current progress and leading the beloved city into the 2026-2031
