WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Democrats on the Oversight Committee have made public a third batch of documents from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, revealing records that include references to high-profile figures such as Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, and Britain’s Prince Andrew.

The documents, released on September 26, 2025, consist of phone logs, flight manifests, financial ledgers, and schedules from the years 2014, 2017, and 2019. The release is part of an ongoing effort to provide transparency into Epstein’s extensive network of associates.

A key point emphasized in the disclosure is that the mere presence of a name in these records does not allege any criminal involvement. The documents instead catalog interactions and connections, offering a more detailed map of Epstein’s contacts during the specified time periods.

This latest batch adds over 8,500 pages to the trove of material already under review by investigators and the public. In conjunction with the release, Democratic lawmakers are renewing their call for the Department of Justice to unseal the full, unredacted files related to Epstein.
The push for full transparency comes amid intense public and judicial scrutiny of Epstein’s network following his death in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The release of these documents continues to fuel widespread interest in the scope and influence of his association
New files released by Congressional Democrats related to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein include references to billionaire Elon Musk and Britain’s Prince Andrew, among other prominent figures.
The documents, which were turned over to the House Oversight Committee by the Jeffrey Epstein Estate, represent the third batch of records released and include phone logs, flight manifests, financial ledgers, and schedules.
The files appear to show a December 2014 invitation for Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to visit Epstein’s private island. A line from the records dated December 6, 2014, reads: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)” Musk has not publicly commented on this specific release but has previously been quoted as saying that Epstein had invited him to the island and that he had declined.
Separately, a flight manifest from May 12, 2000, names Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, as a passenger on a flight with Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, from New Jersey to Florida. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 for her role in conspiring with Epstein to traffic underage girls for sex.
Additionally, a heavily redacted ledger from the estate records two payments for massages for an “Andrew” in February and May of 2000. While palace records confirm Prince Andrew was in the United States around that time, it is not clear if the ledger refers to him. A Buckingham Palace announcement from May 11, 2000, stated the Prince had flown to New York for a charity event. Prince Andrew has previously strenuously denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein.
Broader List of Names
The released files also contain references to other well-known individuals, indicating Epstein’s extensive network among the powerful and wealthy. These include:
· A planned lunch with internet entrepreneur Peter Thiel in November 2017.
· An entry about a planned breakfast with Steve Bannon, a former adviser to President Donald Trump, in February 2019.
· Tentative plans for a breakfast party with Microsoft founder Bill Gates in December 2014. Gates has since stated that meeting Epstein was a “mistake.”
The article emphasizes that it is not suggested that those named in the documents were aware of the criminal activity for which Epstein was later arrested.
Political Divisions Over the Release
The document release has highlighted political tensions within the House Oversight Committee. A spokeswoman for the Democrats, Sara Guerrero, stated that the files show Epstein “was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” and urged the release of more documents to help “bring justice for the survivors and victims.”
Republicans on the committee, however, accused Democrats of “putting politics over victims” and promised to release the full set of documents soon.
Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
