
KCCA Executive Director to Launch Kampala Festival Today
Kampala, Uganda | August 6, 2025 — The Executive Director of the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Hajjati Sharifah Buzeki, is set to officially launch the highly anticipated Kampala Festival today.
The festival, scheduled to take place on October 5, promises to be one of the city’s most vibrant cultural showcases. Highlights of the event include a three-hour grand procession that will snake through selected streets of the capital, culminating at the iconic Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
