Odrek and Patience Rwabwogo Join Bishop Kiganda for Book Launch on Remembering God’s Faithfulness

Kampala, Uganda | August 6, 2025 – Prominent Ugandan leaders and faith-based figures gathered at Skyz Hotel, Naguru, to witness the launch of a powerful new book titled “The Dangers of Forgetting Past Victories” by Bishop Dr. David Kiganda and his wife, Cindy Kiganda.

The event was graced by special guests Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo and his wife, Patience Rwabwogo, who joined the Kigandas, along with visiting Prophet Ebenezer and a delegation of evangelists from Ghana.
In his remarks, Mr. Rwabwogo commended Bishop Kiganda for remaining a steadfast servant in the work of God and for his commitment to raising the next generation of leaders. He praised the book as a timely reminder of the importance of recording and reflecting on God’s past interventions, especially in a generation that risks forgetting the sacrifices and victories of the past.
“Indeed, a forgetfulness generation poses a great danger to public leadership by taking the older generation’s accomplishments for granted,” he noted, urging young people to draw inspiration from the book.
“The Dangers of Forgetting Past Victories” calls readers to remember and document what God has done in their lives and to remain hopeful and faithful to His promises. Bishop Kiganda uses personal reflections and biblical principles to highlight how memory plays a critical role in spiritual resilience and leadership continuity.
Mr. Rwabwogo also applauded the Bishop for finding time to write amidst a busy ministry schedule, encouraging other leaders and professionals to share their stories and unfinished manuscripts with the world.
The evening concluded with prayers, blessings, and a celebration of the new publication, which is now available for purchase in selected bookstores and church outlets.
