
President Ruto Commits to Working Closely with Religious Leaders to Drive National Transformation

President William Ruto has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to partnering with religious leaders to advance Kenya’s national transformation agenda. Emphasizing their pivotal role in society, the President acknowledged that faith leaders possess a unique ability to engage with citizens at the grassroots level, making their insights critical to shaping inclusive and impactful policies.
“We recognise and value the contribution of religious leaders to Kenya’s development journey. Their deep connection with the people makes them essential partners in driving a transformative agenda that truly responds to the needs of the citizenry,” President Ruto said.
The Head of State made the remarks during a meeting with religious leaders from Machakos, Makueni, and Kitui counties, held at State House, Nairobi. The delegation was led by Archbishop Timothy Ndambuki of the Africa Brotherhood Church.
President Ruto assured the leaders of ongoing collaboration to ensure the country’s development priorities are aligned with the lived realities of Kenyans, especially at the grassroots level. He underscored the importance of unity and shared values in fostering national cohesion, peace, and progress.
