KAMPALA – Major General Proscovia Nalweyiso, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Defence and Security, has issued a direct and stern warning to socialite and businesswoman Jennifer Nakanguubi, popularly known as Full Figure, vowing to personally arrest her if she continues using vulgar language in public.
The strong warning comes as a response to Nakanguubi’s repeated use of insults and profane language, a habit that has often played out on her public social media platforms and during events.
Expressing her frustration, Maj. Gen. Nalweyiso revealed that she has repeatedly advised against such behavior to no avail. “I have advised against insults for the longest time; I think the next thing to do is I will just arrest these people,” she stated emphatically.
Addressing Nakanguubi directly, the respected security official adopted a tone of maternal admonishment mixed with an official ultimatum.
“Now I ask my daughter, Full Figure, once she is fully recovered, she must desist completely from using vulgar language,” Nalweyiso said, alluding to a recent period of illness for the socialite. “She must stop, or I am going to arrest her myself. She must concentrate on the work she’s meant to do and stop insulting people.”
The warning from a figure of Maj. Gen. Nalweyiso’s stature—a highly decorated military officer and a key figure in Uganda’s security apparatus—signals a significant hardening of stance against public figures who engage in what she deems to be unruly and offensive conduct.
It remains to be seen how Nakanguubi will respond to this very public and authoritative directive to change her ways.
