Singer Alien Skin Injured in Shooting Incident on Salaama Road

MAKINDYE DIVISION, UGANDA – Popular singer Alien Skin escaped with minor injuries after his vehicle was shot at by what reports suggest were security officers along Salaama Road on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in an area currently under construction, leading to conflicting accounts of what triggered the violence. The singer’s black BMW sports car was left with multiple bullet holes and its tyres deflated, as seen in videos circulating online.
According to eyewitnesses, the altercation began when Alien Skin was driving recklessly on the construction site, disrupting the ongoing works. This allegedly provoked a small, angry mob that began hurling stones at his car before gunshots were fired.
However, the singer has presented a different version of events. In his account, he rushed to the scene not to cause disruption, but to rescue a member of his team who had been accused of injuring a person.
Following the shooting, Alien Skin received treatment at a local clinic for what appeared to be a grazing wound on his arm.
As of now, the police have not issued an official statement regarding the incident, leaving the circumstances surrounding the use of live ammunition unclear. The event has sparked significant attention online, with the viral videos fueling public debate.
