
Uganda to Release 2025 Primary Leaving Examination Results On Friday 30th Feb 2025
KAMPALA — The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has announced that the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results will be officially released tomorrow, January 30, 2026.
The results, for a total of 818,010 candidates, will be unveiled at 11:00 a.m. at the State Lodge Nakasero in Kampala, following approval from the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni.
The national examinations were conducted across 16,000 centers beginning on October 31, 2025. This year’s candidate pool saw more female pupils, with 428,398 girls registered compared to 389,589 boys.
Upon release, parents and guardians can access the results via SMS by sending details to the shortcode 6600 or by checking online through official platforms.
The announcement builds on widespread public anticipation, with stakeholders looking to see if pass rates will continue the improving trend observed in the previous year.
