KAMPALA – A young man from Mbale has died after being brutally beaten, allegedly on the orders of singer Alien Skin and his Fangone Forest gang. The incident, which occurred last night, has sent shockwaves through the city, highlighting the violent activities of groups operating under the guise of music crews.
The victim, whose identity is yet to be officially released, had previously worked as a dancer for the group before parting ways. According to a disturbing video shared by the 256 Vast Range YouTube channel, this decision led to a fatal confrontation.
Abduction and a Brutal Assault
The chain of events began when the victim was allegedly located in Ndebba by a top Fangone Forest enforcer known as Babu. The young man was then abducted and taken to the gang’s base in Fangone.
Shockingly, the video evidence suggests that a severe beating was then carried out under the direct orders of the gang’s leader, Alien Skin. The assault was so vicious that the victim “dies in pain,” according to the source, after being beaten “until his last breath.”
A Family’s Hope Turned to Tragedy
The incident underscores a heartbreaking narrative of a family’s hope turned to despair. The young man had traveled from Mbale to Kampala with the aim of finding work and sending financial assistance back to his family.
Instead of receiving support, his family was woken by the devastating news that their son had been killed for the simple act of distancing himself from the gang.
Public Outcry and Demand for Justice
This alleged murder has sparked widespread condemnation and fear. The brazen nature of the crime, which was reportedly recorded, points to a chilling level of impunity. The public is now looking to the authorities for swift action.
As of now, the Uganda Police Force has not issued an official statement regarding the incident or confirmed any arrests. This case adds to the growing concern about the influence and brutality of criminal gangs in kampala.
