
The Regional Service Centre in Entebbe (RSCE) brought its 2025 Client Service Week to a dazzling close with an awards ceremony that celebrated the dedication and spirit of its staff, capping off a week focused on teamwork, learning, and client-centric excellence.

Under the energizing theme #MissionPossible, the week was a vibrant blend of recognition, professional development, and team-building activities, reinforcing the centre’s unwavering commitment to service.
A Week of Celebration Kicks Off
The week launched with an exciting town hall meeting, where lively performances from the various Service Lines set a celebratory and inspired tone. The opening event served as a platform to honour the “everyday heroes” of the RSCE, whose daily contributions form the backbone of the centre’s mission.

“We recommitted to putting the client first with creativity, collaboration, and a bold belief in this year’s theme,” a spokesperson noted, capturing the week’s foundational spirit.
Teamwork and Camaraderie on Display
Day 2 shifted the focus to energy and collaboration, transforming the centre with a series of spirited team-building exercises. Staff members engaged in a morning Bingo challenge, followed by an afternoon of classic games including a competitive Tug of War, a challenging Obstacle Race, and a collaborative Four-Legged Race.

The events were filled with laughter and smiles, visibly demonstrating the power of teamwork and strengthening the bonds between colleagues.
Spotlight on Inspiring Voices
Day 3 put the spotlight on the people of RSCE through UNtx, a special event modelled after the famous TED Talk format. Colleagues from each Service Line took to the stage to deliver powerful, concise seven-minute talks designed to educate, inspire, and motivate their peers.

The event showcased impressive creativity, confidence, and storytelling skills. Expert judges from Toastmasters provided valuable feedback, helping participants sharpen their public speaking and presentation techniques for greater impact.
A Glittering Finale to Honour Stars
The week culminated in a glamorous Awards Ceremony at the Kofi Annan Hall, an evening of glitz, laughter, and celebration. The event served to honour the “stars of the week” and recognize the collective efforts that make the RSCE’s client service mission possible.
