Seer Predicts Political Turmoil for Museveni Family, Claims Muhoozi Will Never Rule Uganda
KAMPALA – In a series of startling claims, self-proclaimed seer Hajji Jafari has predicted that General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Commander of the Defense Forces and first son of President Yoweri Museveni, will never ascend to the presidency of Uganda, even after his father’s era ends.
The fortune teller, popularly known as Jajja Jafari, made these declarations during a recent interview with a YouTube channel. He stated that supernatural forces reveal that Muhoozi “cannot and will never get a chance of ruling Uganda after his father,” whether he likes it or not.
Jafari rose to public attention after allegedly accurately predicting that National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) would “disappear immediately after casting his vote” in the last election—an event many observers noted occurred when Kyagulanyi was placed under house arrest.
Family Power Struggle Looms
The seer elaborated that President Museveni’s departure will trigger a serious power struggle, suggesting that it may be difficult for first family members to retain control. He further claimed that President Museveni would be more willing to transfer power to his daughter, Natasha, whom he described as having “the capacity to govern,” rather than to his son Muhoozi.
In a more provocative assertion, Jafari alleged that First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni is currently the primary decision-maker in the country. “Museveni is just there to do what he is told to do,” he claimed, adding that Janet “commands whatever is done in Statehouse.”
First Lady as Power Broker
According to Jafari, Janet Museveni is the only person who could convince the President to leave power peacefully. However, he suggested that she also harbors political ambitions and would likely recommend her daughter Natasha as Museveni’s successor rather than her son.
The seer also commented on Muhoozi’s recent controversial statements and actions, including his attacks on Barbie Itungo and his characterization of opposition supporters as “NUP terrorists.” Jafari claimed these actions “annoy his sisters and they feel bad about it.”
Political Context
These predictions emerge amid ongoing speculation about Uganda’s political future and a potential succession plan within the ruling National Resistance Movement. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has increasingly taken on a more visible political role in recent years, though the government has consistently denied the existence of a dynastic succession project.
As with all unverified predictions, these claims should be treated with caution. The State House has not responded to the seer’s allegations, and political analysts note that Uganda’s future leadership will ultimately be determined through constitutional processes and the will of the Ugandan people.
